Seminars "Nuclear Potential of Kazakhstan" are organized by the Association "Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan" annually for young specialists from nuclear enterprises. Each seminar is held on the basis of different enterprises of the nuclear industry of the Republic.
Goals and objectives:
- activation of creative activity and support of scientific and technical creativity of young scientists and specialists of nuclear enterprises;
- assistance to the professional growth of youth, the development of youth scientific initiatives and the consolidation of young scientists and specialists at the nuclear enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- representation, protection and implementation of professional, intellectual, legal interests and rights of young scientists and specialists at nuclear enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seminars discuss the problems of the uranium mining industry; nuclear fuel production; atomic energy; nuclear physics, radioecology, geophysics; legal, macroeconomic and educational aspects in the nuclear industry.
The seminars are annually attended by representatives of nuclear organizations: Kazatomprom, UMP, NNC RK, IAE NNC RK, IRBE NNC RK, INP RK, IGI, Volgovgeology, ICT, uranium mining enterprises, as well as students from KazNU named after Al-Farabi and KazNTU named after I. Satpayev.
