At July 14th "The Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan" together with the East Kazakhstan Regional Library of A.S. Pushkin held an online meeting "Peaceful Atom". The audience of participants covered the residents of the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Zyryanovsk.
This event was held as a series of educational events among the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the aim of increasing the level of public acceptance of nuclear technologies.
During the live broadcast, S.A. Aliyev, Director of ICAE in Nur-Sultan, told the audience about intellectual popularization projects that are being implemented on the basis of the Center, about exclusive formats of popular science events developed by ICAE staff. Among them: championships in intellectual games, experimental laboratories, scientific talk shows, dosimetry trips, etc. At the end of the meeting, he answered questions from the meeting participants.
