Employees of the youth branch of the Association "Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan" held a National popular science course "Peaceful Atom" for first-year IT students of the college of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute in Nur-Sultan.
Working with partners is a search for new points of contact, and working with young people is a systematic knowledge of each other and the development and instilling of common values. Yesterday's schoolchildren and today's students are the most inquisitive and at the same time arbitrary audience, they want everything - at once, now and to the point. Just as it is customary in our nuclear industry - observance of technology and safety rules, constant control and renewal, all this is familiar to children who have chosen engineering professions.
How the penetrating power of ionizing radiation is used, what it is needed for and what dividends in the future in the economy, industry and human health the students of PVR-11 and PVR-12 college learned. With these guys WE will meet again and again not only at lectures on natural science disciplines, technical tours or dosimetry hikes and various intellectual contests... They are still waiting for the final comprehensive exam, including programming, information networks and automated information systems, which is taken by our staff as part of the commission.
